The project is implemented by Chu Lai Truong Hai Industrial Park and Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Company Limited, with a total investment capital of about VND 1,433 billion; of which, the investor's contributed capital is VND 286 billion, mobilized capital is VND 1,147 billion.
The project covers an area of 115 hectares in Tam Hiep Commune, Nui Thanh District, Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. However, the 44-hectare area not included in the approved land use plan of Nui Thanh District will only be implemented after completing the procedures for supplementing land use indicators according to regulations.
The project's objective is to invest in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure following the model of a mechanical engineering industrial park, with an operating period of 50 years from the date of approval. The project is expected to complete basic construction and put into operation within a maximum of 36 months from the date the investor is allocated or leased land.
According to the decision, the investor must strictly comply with the legal regulations on investment, land, real estate business, national security and defense, and environmental protection. The company is also required to refund the investment costs on the land of more than 61 hectares previously implemented by Chu Lai Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company Limited, and at the same time resolve related backlogs to ensure the project is implemented on schedule. In particular, the project area has a number of hills that are qualified for use as landfill materials, the investor must survey and report to the competent authorities according to regulations.
Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with relevant agencies to guide Nui Thanh District People's Committee to complete the dossier to adjust the planning and land use plan, ensuring land quota for the project.
The People's Committee of Nui Thanh district is responsible for implementing compensation and site clearance plans, implementing solutions related to workers' lives, supporting employment due to the project's impact, and supervising issues related to cultural heritage, ensuring that no historical relics or scenic spots are affected...
