Quang Ngai: Carrying hammocks through forests and wading streams to take patients to the emergency room

On the afternoon of October 31, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tay Ha commune, Quang Ngai province, said that the functional forces of Son Tay Ha commune, together with local people, helped take a patient with a stroke to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At around 10:30 a.m. on October 31, upon receiving news that Mr. D.VT, resident of Team 2, Nuoc Kia Village, Son Tay Ha Commune, had a stroke, the commune's functional forces and local people quickly assisted in taking Mr. D. to the hospital for timely emergency treatment.

Authorities divided into groups, using hammocks, stretchers and ropes to carry patients across the cut-off roads.

When passing landslides, people help to cross each route.

The transport was difficult due to slippery roads, having to cross streams, climb slopes, and trek through forests. However, the forces still made efforts to coordinate, carrying the patient on a stretcher through landslides to get him to emergency care safely and promptly.

As of the afternoon of October 31, Son Tay Ha commune was still overcoming the consequences of flood.
