The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just decided to establish a Consulting Team to support the process of approving investment policies, selecting investors and legal procedures related to the Project of Waste Treatment Plant combined with Power Generation and the Project of Dung Quat Integrated Waste Treatment Complex (hereinafter referred to as the Consulting and Support Team) at Tinh Phong Urban, Industrial and Service Area (Son Tinh District).

The Advisory and Support Team is headed by Mr. Dam Minh Le, Deputy Head in charge of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones of Quang Ngai Province. The Deputy Heads are representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Planning and Investment.

The task of the Consulting and Support Team is to advise and support the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai province in the process of approving investment policies, selecting investors and legal procedures related to the project such as supporting, guiding and implementing related work contents (on construction planning, implementation plan of the National Power Development Plan, power connection planning, procedures for closing The Loi mine, etc.) to ensure sufficient conditions for approving investment policies for the project in accordance with regulations; develop general principles, prerequisites, and requirements in the bidding documents according to regulations; develop detailed criteria for selecting investors in the bidding documents on capacity, experience, business investment plans, investment efficiency; propose ceiling prices for waste treatment services in accordance with the actual situation of the province and in accordance with the provisions of law.

At the same time, based on the contents of the bidding documents, based on the submitted bidding documents, the Consulting and Support Team will conduct an inspection and evaluation of the validity of the bidding documents; evaluate the bidding documents in detail as a basis for the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to synthesize, submit for appraisal and approval of the results of investor selection.
