Quang Ninh opens Bai Tu Long Bay tourism tour

On July 19, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued a Decision to announce the tours and tourism of Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay. The announcement of these tours not only opens up opportunities to explore the majestic landscape of Bai Tu Long Bay but also combines types of spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, sea resorts, sports, cultural experiences, etc., creating unique tourism products, different from Ha Long Bay.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the opening of tours to Bai Tu Long Bay is an important step in the province's sustainable tourism development strategy.

The Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee affirmed that connecting destinations and building high-quality tourism products will attract a large number of tourists, especially international visitors, while preserving and promoting the natural, historical and cultural values ​​of the islands.

The opening of tours to Bai Tu Long Bay will contribute to raising Van Don tourism to a new level, aiming to welcome 2 million visitors by 2025 and 8 million visitors by 2030.

Van Don owns more than 600 large and small islands with beautiful natural landscapes, pristine beaches and rich marine ecosystems. In particular, Bai Tu Long National Park, recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park, preserves many rare animal and plant gene samples, creating a special attraction for ecotourism.

In recent years, Quang Ninh province has focused on infrastructure investment, creating conditions for Van Don to develop into a modern island tourism center. Many important projects have been completed such as Van Don International Airport, Ao Tien International Port, Ha Long - Van Don - Mong Cai Expressway... helping to connect and attract tourists to this land of great potential.
