Quang Ninh builds a government brand to serve people and businesses

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision 1919/QD-UBND approving the Project on developing enterprises, creative startups and developing key products, building brands of Quang Ninh province by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The project aims to announce the results of digital transformation in various fields, especially in the field of serving the people, by 2024; by 2025, to be in the top 5 provinces and cities nationwide in comprehensive digital transformation, and in the leading group nationwide in ensuring network safety and security; the digital economy will account for at least 20% of GRDP and by 2030, about 30%.

Quang Ninh province also strives to have 100% of products under the OCOP program registered for intellectual property protection by the end of 2025 and maintain until 2030.

By the end of 2025, Quang Ninh province will strive to build the brand "Quang Ninh - Government serving people and businesses"; by 2030, build and develop the Ha Long brand into a group of strong brands, valuable in the region and the world, a destination for scientific events, a center for organizing national and international conferences and seminars. In particular, the province will strive to consider and resolve 80% of arising recommendations within the quarter, establish about 2,000 new enterprises/year in the period of 2024-2030; have at least 10 enterprises in the top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam.

On that basis, the province will raise awareness of the political system on business development, startups, innovation, creativity, the position and role of the business community in implementing the province's development goals; develop key products and build sustainable brands; pay attention to developing unique and valuable brands, ensuring inheritance; promote the application of science and technology, boldly take the lead in applying new technologies, accelerate the speed and improve the efficiency of comprehensive digital transformation, promote startups, innovation, etc. The project also provides a group of specific solutions on business development, developing creative startups, developing key products, developing brands, etc.
