Quang Tri: Social consensus to successfully achieve development goals

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Phan Xuan Thuy noted that Quang Tri province continues to do a good job of collecting public opinions on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, creating high consensus among the people.

On October 30, the Central Steering Committee's working group on grasping the situation of the people and public opinion; synthesizing people's opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, led by Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Phan Xuan Thuy, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.

Recently, Quang Tri province has successfully organized the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, becoming a broad political activity, arousing the spirit of solidarity, the will to innovate and the aspiration for development in the entire Party and the people. Public opinion highly appreciated the Party Committee's initiative in organizing the congress, and expressed confidence and expectations in key contents such as political reports, personnel work and congress organization.

Along with that, the work of information, propaganda, and orientation of public opinion associated with the implementation of patriotic emulation movements and achievements to welcome party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party is also highly appreciated by the people.

Regarding the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, the work of collecting opinions and synthesizing comments from cadres, party members and people was carried out extensively and effectively. The whole province had over 50,990 delegates contributing their opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. All opinions agreed that the draft documents were concise, succinct, looked straight at the truth, and correctly assessed their nature. The issues raised in the draft were basically close to the practical situation, clear, and easy to understand.

Regarding the organization and operation of the two-level local government, the survey results show that the majority of people have understood and grasped this model. Specifically, more than 80% of opinions positively evaluated the service attitude of the staff and civil servants. The people and public opinion highly agreed with the implementation of breakthrough resolutions, believing that these resolutions will create a strong change, in line with the development trend of the times.

The working delegation further discussed the results of the locality in grasping the situation of the people, public opinion and synthesizing comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; at the same time, noted some contents in the operation of the two-level local government model.

Speaking at the working session, the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed that the outstanding results of the locality, especially the effectiveness of the two-level local government model, have clearly demonstrated the leadership and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee in the past time. At the same time, the working delegation fully acknowledged the opinions, proposals and recommendations of the province, and requested the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and departments, branches and sectors to continue to research and supplement practical and realistic solutions to further promote the effectiveness of the two-level local government model.

At the same time, continue to do a good job of collecting people's opinions on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; strengthen the grasp of the situation, create high consensus among the people on the two-level local government model; effectively implement the Central resolutions, together with the whole country, successfully achieve socio -economic development goals, strengthen people's trust in the Party's leadership, and firmly enter a new era of development.
