Determined not to let fire or explosion happen

(BDO) On the morning of June 9, the People's Committee of Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City launched the model of "Fire Prevention and Fighting Interfamily Group".

At the launching ceremony, in addition to 14 business households on N9 Street, Binh Thuan 2 Quarter, Thuan Giao Ward, there were also nearly 300 local residents and functional forces participating in fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) training. At the training session, residents were instructed on fire extinguishing techniques by officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Team of Thuan An City Police.

After the model launching ceremony, Thuan Giao ward organized a drill to handle a fire situation at a local business.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Chairwoman of Thuan Giao Ward People's Committee, said that Thuan Giao residential area in Binh Thuan 2 Ward has about 2,000 conditional business establishments, located in 20 residential groups, with many potential fire and explosion incidents. The locality will soon replicate this model to the remaining 19 residential groups.

Since the beginning of the year, there have been no fires or explosions in Thuan Giao Ward. Previously, the locality also launched the “Public Fire Station” model with the motto “four on-site”.
