On the afternoon of November 26, the OCOP product evaluation and classification council of Quynh Phu district held a conference to evaluate and classify district-level OCOP products in 2024 for 9 products.

9 products participated in the evaluation and classification, including: red sticky rice of Quynh My Agricultural Service Cooperative; rice from Gianh village of An Ninh Agricultural Service Cooperative; Chau Son water chestnuts of Nguyen Van Khanh business household, Chau Son commune; Quynh Nguyen potatoes of Quynh Nguyen Agricultural Service Cooperative; Quynh Lam peanuts of Quynh Lam Agricultural Service Cooperative; Quynh Hai spring onions of Quynh Hai Agricultural Service Production and Business Cooperative; Bai village water spinach of Quynh Hoa Agricultural Service Cooperative; Ret tea of An Vinh Agricultural Service Cooperative and Sophora japonica buds of An Cau Agricultural Service Cooperative. These are the products selected by localities as OCOP products under the program "One commune, one product".

The members of the District OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council have carefully studied and reviewed the products to evaluate and score them strictly, objectively and transparently. The products have many improvements in quality, diverse designs, guaranteed conditions, regulations on stamps, labels, product traceability... Based on the evaluation results, the District OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council has evaluated the 9 above products to meet the 3-star OCOP standard.

Thus, by the end of November 2024, Quynh Phu district has a total of 31 products recognized as OCOP products, of which 4 products have achieved 4-star OCOP and 27 products have achieved 3-star OCOP, thereby contributing to promoting economic development in rural areas.
