Review of health food products whose registration certificate has been revoked

Pursuant to Decision No. 219 dated May 16 of the Department of Food Safety, Ministry of Health on revoking the validity of the Certificate of Registration of Declaration of Health Protection Food Products, the Department of Health - Standing Agency of the Provincial Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on Food Safety has just issued Document No. 1284 requesting agencies, units, food production and trading establishments in the province to continue to seriously and effectively implement the work of ensuring food safety in the province according to the Law on Food Safety, regulations and directions of the Government, Prime Minister, Ministry of Health, Provincial People's Committee.

Organize inspection, review, report inspection results, review, and handle violations according to authority for health protection food products whose product declaration registration certificates have been revoked by the Food Safety Department, Ministry of Health .

The Department assigned the Food Safety and Hygiene Department to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Health Inspectorate, the Center for Drug, Cosmetic and Food Testing to inspect, review, urge, synthesize reports, and promptly advise and propose to the Board of Directors of the Department of Health the contents of the direction of the Ministry of Health and the Provincial People's Committee to meet the actual situation of the locality.

Medical units in the province shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to organize inspections, propaganda, dissemination, guidance, and recommendations for agencies, units, food production and trading establishments and people not to use health protection food products whose registration certificates of declarations have been revoked in documents of the Department of Food Safety, Ministry of Health.

The Health Department Inspectorate coordinates with relevant authorities to strengthen the organization of inspection activities on compliance with legal regulations for organizations and individuals producing, processing, trading, importing and exporting food under the management of the Health sector in the province. Handling organizations and individuals violating food safety regulations under their authority according to legal regulations.

The Department of Medical Practice Management - Department of Health coordinates with the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene and relevant agencies and units to strengthen the state management of business activities, trading, and selling of functional foods, foods, and food products at medical examination and treatment facilities, pharmacies, and drugstores under its management authority, especially health protection food products that have had their Certificate of Registration of Declaration revoked in documents of the Department of Food Safety, Ministry of Health.
