On January 16, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said it had just issued an "urgent" document requesting the Department of Planning and Investment to review and report on the documents, procedures and investment in the construction of the golf club building in Cu Da Lat Hill, part of the Da Lat Resort project invested by Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Da Lat City People's Committee and relevant agencies to review the procedures and investment in the construction of the golf club building in Cu Da Lat Hill of Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company; advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee before 11:30 a.m. on January 17, 2024.

Previously, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested Da Lat City People's Committee to prepare documents and handle violations in construction investment and construction order violations at the Cu Hill Da Lat golf club building project.

As Thanh Nien reported, Da Lat City authorities determined that the investor had built a golf building on plot 1, map sheet 17, in the area adjacent to Dinh Tien Hoang Street (golf course, golf hole 8). In which, the block 1 project (dome design) violated the content of the granted construction permit and approved design, the total illegal construction area of this block was over 3,300m2 . In addition, the block 2 building did not have a construction permit and approved design. This block has a construction floor area of 4,478m2 , with 2 basements, 1 ground floor and 2 upper floors, the total construction area is over 20,000m2 .

The total illegal and unlicensed construction area of these two buildings is over 20,000m2.

Pursuant to Decree 16/2022/ND-CP dated January 28, 2022, the People's Committee of Da Lat City issued a decision to fine Ms. Le Thi Hong Xuan (residing on Yersin Street, Ward 9, Da Lat City), General Director of Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company, investor of the golf club building, VND 240 million. Specifically, Block 1 was built without a permit and was fined VND 110 million, while Block 2 was built without a permit and was fined VND 130 million.

Da Lat City People's Committee also requested Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company to dismantle illegal and unlicensed construction items at the golf club building.
