
It is forecasted that in the coming time, the weather in the area will continue to have heavy rain, high risk of landslides, flooding, and potential traffic safety risks.
To proactively respond and promptly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, ensuring traffic safety for people and vehicles through areas at risk of landslides and floods, the Vietnam Road Administration requests agencies and units to urgently review areas at high risk of flash floods, landslides, and inundation to promptly implement warning solutions such as: installing landslide and flood warning signs; barriers; arranging guards, guides, and traffic regulators through dangerous areas, ensuring safe and smooth traffic.
Road agencies and units mobilize forces, vehicles and materials on site to promptly repair damage caused by storms and rains. At the same time, develop and implement traffic diversion plans, guide traffic regulation, and ensure safe traffic, especially on sections in mountainous areas, rugged terrain, and high risk of landslides.
If necessary, promptly discuss and agree with the traffic police force and report to competent authorities to organize road and bridge closures according to regulations.
The Vietnam Road Administration requests the Departments of Construction of the above provinces and cities, based on the situation of storms and floods, the level and risk of landslides and flooding of the routes, to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to study and decide to restrict vehicles, especially passenger cars, from traveling at night, when there is a high risk of landslides and flooding... At the same time, develop and implement reasonable traffic diversion plans to ensure smooth and safe traffic.
The Vietnam Road Administration also requested Road Management Zones II and III to urgently guide and support localities in repairing traffic infrastructure damaged by natural disasters, especially in areas that are still isolated and have landslides causing serious consequences.
For areas that are no longer heavily affected by rain, storms and floods, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Prime Minister's instructions in Official Dispatches No. 214/CD-TTg dated November 12, 2025, No. 215/CD-TTg dated November 13, 2025 on urgently collecting statistics, assessing damage and focusing on restoring production and business, stabilizing people's lives after storms and floods in the Central region, of the Ministry of Construction in Official Dispatches No. 89/CD-BXD dated November 13, 2025, No. 91/CD-BXD dated November 15, 2025 and Document No. 6325/CDBVN-TCGT dated November 14, 2025 of the Vietnam Road Administration. Continue to coordinate and support local agencies and units to focus on quickly overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, and focus on restoring production and business to soon stabilize people's lives after storms and floods in the Central region.
