Guardrail fences were illegally removed on National Highway 1A through Thang Binh commune.

DNO - Authorities have blocked off illegally removed guardrails on National Highway 1A through Thang Binh Commune, Da Nang City; preventing traffic safety risks.

Road Management Office III.1 has just coordinated with CECO 545 BOT LLC and units and localities to inspect the scene of the guardrail area illegally dismantled by people at Km973+820 on National Highway 1A through Binh Hiep village, Thang Binh commune, Da Nang city.

According to the inspection team, Mr. LMH, resident of Binh Hiep village, arbitrarily removed part of the corrugated iron guardrail to fill the land within the road safety corridor.

The removed guardrail is located near the pedestrian crossing and in the gap between the median strip and the U-turn position. Therefore, the act of removing the soft guardrail to open the connecting road poses a potential risk of traffic accidents on National Highway 1A.

On August 1, Road Management Office III.1 coordinated with CECO 545 BOT LLC, Thang Binh Commune People's Committee, Thang Binh Commune Police... to re-enclose the soft guardrail at the dismantled location to ensure traffic safety in the area, and at the same time propagate to people to strictly comply with road traffic laws.

After closing the soft guardrail and restoring the area to its original state, the road management agency will make a record of handover to the management and maintenance unit - CECO 545 BOT LLC and the Thang Binh commune government. These two units are responsible for managing, monitoring and having a plan to handle any violations that cause traffic insecurity and affect the road traffic infrastructure.
