Last season, Casemiro was not in good form and faced a lot of criticism, especially from experts like Jaime Carragher.
However, recently, the Brazilian midfielder has significantly improved his playing ability within manager Amorim's system, helping MU revive with three consecutive wins in the Premier League.

Rio Ferdinand stated on his personal podcast: " Casemiro has built a brilliant career, winning five Champions League titles, thanks to his role as a link between the defense and midfield, filling the gaps beyond the second line."
He wasn't required to run around or be a playmaker. Casemiro was the one cleaning up, doing the hard work, and keeping his area organized. Lately, we've been seeing glimpses of the old Casemiro."
Rio Ferdinand went on to bring up the argument between him and Carragher last year, when the Liverpool legend hinted that Casemiro should retire amidst his declining form.
"This reminds me of what Jaime Carragher said about Casmiro 'stop playing football'."
At the time, I thought it was disrespectful to talk about a five-time Champions League winner who was undergoing a change in his approach to football, as manager Amorim had just taken over at MU.
Players sometimes lose confidence or form, but I think Carragher's words were too hasty and very disrespectful to someone who has achieved so much in the sport like Casemiro."
