Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks" will take place from December 20 - 22 in Lai Chau City, spreading the unique cultural identity of local ethnic minorities.
The opening ceremony will take place from 8pm on December 20 at Lai Chau Provincial People's Square. The closing ceremony will take place from 4pm on December 22 at Lai Chau Provincial Cultural Conference Center.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province, this is a series of annual events to honor, promote, and disseminate the cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development; strengthen the strength of ethnic solidarity; raise awareness in the work of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Vietnamese community.
Coming to Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024, domestic and international tourists can explore and better understand the customs and practices of ethnic minorities. Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 is also an opportunity to promote the potential and strengths of Lai Chau's typical tourism products; help travel businesses learn, expand the market, and build tours to bring visitors to Lai Chau.
Within the framework of Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024, there will be many cultural activities such as: Cultural space of Lai Chau ethnic groups with 9 spaces recreating the culture of ethnic groups living in the province; Space to introduce and promote tourism; Space to exhibit beautiful tourism photos, combined with flower and ornamental plant displays, will exhibit beautiful tourism photos of 8 extended Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City; Space to display and introduce OCOP products and some typical agricultural products of the province; Space to exhibit books, newspapers, geographical documents and calligraphy art; Space to display and introduce tea, ginseng, orchids and ornamental plants and Lai Chau culinary culture space with a scale of 20 booths, introducing the traditional culinary culture of Lai Chau...
There is also a Famtrip program and a discussion on "Consulting on building a Lai Chau City tour program", with survey activities and practical experiences at some tourist destinations such as: Pusamcap Cave, Gia Khau village associated with the Gia Khau cave system, San Thang village associated with San Thang night market/fair market, Lao Ty Phung (Tam Duong)...
