QNgTV - Heavy rain upstream caused rapid water flow and collapsed the Phu Mau bridge pier on Provincial Road 14B, cutting off the vital traffic route connecting to the center of Hue City.

According to initial information, at around 5:30 a.m. on November 3, heavy rain upstream caused rapid water flow and the Phu Mau bridge pier to collapse.
Khe Tre Commune People's Committee has dispatched functional forces to block and put up warning signs at both ends of the bridge to prevent people and vehicles from passing. Provincial Road 14B is a vital traffic route connecting Khe Tre with the center of Hue City.
The locality is currently planning to open a temporary road to the highway for people to travel. Authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and coming up with a plan to repair it.
