The congress was attended by 120 outstanding party members, representing nearly 700 party members of the entire Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. The congress will review and evaluate the implementation of the congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term; determine the direction, goals, tasks and solutions of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents submitted to the 1st Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations and the 14th National Party Congress.
According to the draft report submitted to the congress, during the past term, the Central Party Committee of the Union has led and directed the comprehensive completion of tasks, including effectively implementing major programs and projects to support women's comprehensive development, such as: the project "Propaganda, education , mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women in the period of 2017-2027", the project "Supporting women to start businesses in the period of 2017-2025", the project "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent problems for women and children"...
In the coming term, the congress set many targets, including: striving to annually mobilize and support the establishment of at least 70 new cooperatives with women participating in management; supporting capacity building and in-depth knowledge of business and entrepreneurship for 10,000 women; supporting 2,500 business households owned by women to register to convert into enterprises; supporting at least 30,000 women to escape poverty, escape near-poverty and have stable jobs...
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the congress expressed its determination to successfully carry out the tasks set out in the 2025-2030 term, practically celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (1930 - 2030), contributing to the successful implementation of the country's development goals by 2030.
