Bien Hoa City is the locality with the highest number of dengue fever cases in the province with 516 cases. Next are Long Thanh district with 377 cases, Nhon Trach 321 cases, Trang Bom 281 cases. These are all localities with large populations, many concentrated boarding houses, and environmental sanitation conditions in many boarding houses are not guaranteed.

The provincial Center for Disease Control assessed that the dengue fever epidemic situation is complicated, the weather is changing erratically compared to previous years. In particular, the rainy season this year came earlier, creating favorable conditions for mosquitoes to breed and develop. In addition, a part of the population is still subjective in the prevention and control of dengue fever, leading to a very high risk of dengue fever outbreaks in localities.

Therefore, the Provincial Center for Disease Control recommends that districts and cities closely monitor the epidemic situation weekly in their localities; review communes and wards with epidemics to develop timely epidemic suppression plans. At the same time, strengthen monitoring and timely handling of outbreaks, expand the scope of outbreak handling to ensure that the outbreak does not spread and prolong; strengthen communication so that people know how to prevent and detect early signs of the disease so that they can go to the hospital for timely examination and treatment, and limit deaths.
