Dong Nai Department of Education and Training implements anti-waste campaign on Vietnamese Teachers' Day

The Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province decided not to organize activities to receive guests, flowers and congratulatory gifts on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day.

Today (November 14), the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province announced that it has just notified educational units in the area that they will not organize receptions, receive flowers, or receive congratulatory gifts on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day.

According to this agency, not organizing the above activities is to seriously and effectively implement the resolutions, conclusions, and directives of the Party Central Committee and the Law on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness.

Ms. Truong Thi Kim Hue - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai - said that the unit has not organized receptions, received flowers and congratulatory gifts on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day for many years. Through this, the Dong Nai education sector hopes to spread the spirit of thrift to all staff, teachers and students, contributing to building a civilized and thrifty society.
