Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs supports people affected by storms and floods with 1.1 billion VND

The Department's working delegation led by Mr. Vo Si, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, together with the Trade Union and the Department's Office, came to directly support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of September 20.

The above donation amount was donated by the collective of civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City with the desire to support a small part to help people in the Northern provinces overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after the storm and flood.

According to Mr. Vo Si, immediately after witnessing the heavy damage to the people in the North after storm No. 3 (storm Yagi ), the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City launched a campaign calling on all civil servants, public employees, workers and union members in the entire Department to contribute one day's salary to support the people who suffered damage.

Up to now, the total amount of donations is 1,138,288,655 VND. The Department's working group brought the donations directly to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
