On the side of Da Nang city, there were Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An; Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh, representatives of central ministries, branches, Military Region 5 and local authorities.

In recent days, due to prolonged heavy rains, the water level of Thu Bon River has risen, causing serious landslides on the embankment of An Luong fishing wharf (south of Cua Dai bridge), threatening the safety of riverside traffic and nearby households.

Armed forces and local authorities have urgently temporarily reinforced with sandbags to limit damage.

After the on-site inspection, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu visited and encouraged the frontline forces to make efforts to overcome difficulties, proactively respond, and ensure absolute safety for people in flood-affected areas.

The Standing Secretariat requested authorities at all levels and functional agencies to urgently deploy urgent measures for temporary handling, while at the same time studying fundamental, long-term solutions to stabilize the embankment and protect people's lives.
