Health of survivor of massacre in Dak Lak temporarily stable

The boy who survived the massacre in Dak Lak was taken to the emergency room with multiple injuries, including a penetrating chest wound. After surgery, the victim's health condition is temporarily stable.

On the morning of September 13, Dr. Nguyen Dang Giap - Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital - confirmed that the unit is providing emergency treatment to a boy who was stabbed with multiple chest injuries in the massacre in Dak Lak.

The patient is Tran Tan P. (12 years old, residing in Nguyen Khoa Dang alley, Thanh Nhat ward, Dak Lak).

The hospital received the patient at 2:21 a.m. the same day in a state of multiple trauma: pale pink skin, rapid breathing, sweating, rapid heartbeat, reduced lung ventilation, and air under the skin of the chest and chest wall.

Doctors diagnosed the patient with an open wound through the chest, along with multiple injuries to the arms, legs, shoulders and wrists.

After consultation, the hospital performed emergency surgery at 4:20 am. Currently, P. has undergone surgery to suture the soft tissue wound and drain the pleura. After the surgery, his health is temporarily stable and he is still being closely monitored by the hospital.

Thanh Nhat Ward Police said the boy was found with multiple stab and slash wounds and was then taken to the emergency room.
