J&T Express (Global) has just announced a new milestone with over 100 million packages processed globally on November 12th, right after the peak of the 11.11 shopping season. In Vietnam, the volume of orders increased by 177% compared to the same period last year.
From October 20th to November 12th, J&T Express witnessed significant growth in global parcel volume. In Southeast Asia, the average daily parcel volume from November 1st to 11th exceeded 15 million, marking an impressive 73% year-on-year increase.
Anticipating a surge in parcel volume during the year-end peak season, J&T Express has proactively implemented a series of preparatory measures in many markets. The brand has focused heavily on investing in infrastructure and human resources to ensure operational efficiency and service quality, ready to meet the increased demand for goods delivery.
Investing in modern technology and equipment is one of J&T Express's top priorities.
In September and October alone, J&T Express Vietnam invested in over 300 trucks of various types, and the brand plans to add another 500 trucks to serve the peak season at the end of this year. In addition to investing heavily in equipment, J&T Express is also focusing on applying technology to improve operational capacity. Recently, the company launched its largest transit center in the north, with a processing capacity of up to 2.4 million parcels per day and a parcel processing accuracy rate of 99.99%, significantly increasing delivery efficiency during peak season.
In Thailand, J&T Express has upgraded its 4 sorting centers and 5 distribution centers with an additional 13 automated systems, increasing processing efficiency by 25% and 20% respectively. Furthermore, J&T Express Thailand has expanded its sorting area by approximately 19,000 square meters, added over 900 vehicles, and recruited more than 3,800 personnel to meet the growing market demand.

In other emerging markets, Black Friday (November 29th) – Latin America's biggest shopping event of the year – is approaching, leading to a surge in shipping demand. J&T Express has recorded strong growth in parcel volume in Brazil and Mexico. To address the upcoming peak, J&T Express in both countries has proactively invested in infrastructure and human resources, upgrading automated equipment to meet the demand for high-quality express delivery services from both customers and consumers.
Sharing insights on the development strategy, Charles Hou, Vice President of J&T Express (Global), stated: "We will continue to invest in infrastructure and allocate resources across multiple markets, focusing on optimizing our network and enhancing services.
