(NLDO) - An accident between a container truck and a motorbike taxi driver left a male driver dead on the spot.

On March 24, Binh Chieu Ward Police, Thu Duc City (HCMC) is coordinating with relevant units to investigate the case of a technology motorbike taxi driver being run over and killed by a container truck.

Initial information, at around 12:30 on the same day, Mr. TQP (a technology motorbike taxi driver) was driving a motorbike of a technology motorbike taxi company on Provincial Road 43, from Binh Duong Province to Thu Duc City. While going downhill on Provincial Road 43 bridge, Binh Chieu Ward, the motorbike collided with a container truck with a Dong Nai province license plate driven by a male driver.

A motorbike taxi driver and his motorbike fell onto the road and were run over by a container truck, killing them. The container truck traveled more than 100 meters before stopping.

Binh Chieu Ward Police coordinated with Traffic Police to arrive at the scene to block off and investigate the cause.

Binh Chieu Ward Police also took the container truck driver to headquarters for drug testing.
