On November 5, the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training announced that the Principal of Rach Kien High School had decided to temporarily suspend teacher NVT, who teaches National Defense Education , for 15 days.

This decision is to clarify the case of a teacher accused of sending love messages to a 10th grade female student at the school.

The Department of Education and Training said it will conduct strict disciplinary procedures against the teacher when there is an official conclusion from the authorities.

Previously, on October 20, the leadership of Rach Kien High School received a complaint from a female teacher about student NTTL, a 10th grader, being inappropriately treated by teacher NVT.

After working with the female student, L. said that the teacher had sent intimate messages and had touched her body. The female student expressed her wish for the incident to end so she could focus on her studies. The school's Board of Directors encouraged her, asked her to write a report and pledged to handle the incident seriously.

On October 22, at a meeting with school leaders, Mr. T. admitted to sending intimate messages but denied touching the student's body. He wrote a self-criticism and pledged to stop contacting the student. This handling was also agreed to by the female student L.

However, at around 2:25 p.m. on October 27, L.'s biological mother and another woman came to the school and asked the security guard for permission to go inside to discuss their child's studies. After entering the school grounds, the two rushed into the equipment room and got into a scuffle with teacher T., but were stopped by many people.

Rach Kien Commune Police continue to work with students and parents to clarify the incident.
