Vietnamese music "rookie" releases first product

Releasing the MV Back 2U in collaboration with music producer Pixel Neko (Dang Duc Duy), rookie CHLOÉ (Nguyen Ha Anh) has just had an impressive "debut" with Vietnamese audiences.

CHLOÉ (born 2001) is currently studying Interdisciplinary Music Studies at Berklee Online, part of Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA). This is one of the leading professional music schools in the world and has had many Vietnamese artists study there, such as: Tran Manh Tuan, Duc Tri, Thu Minh, Doan Trang, Lam Truong, Anna Truong, An Tran... Previously, CHLOÉ studied at the Soul Academy of Multidisciplinary Arts (Vietnam).

Choosing the stage name CHLOÉ is quite unusual, she said that this is the name her mother gave her when she was little. The singer wants to bring this memory into her musical journey. CHLOÉ wants her image and music to be genuine, close and not stereotyped.

The debut MV Back 2U is a project she collaborated with famous producer Pixel Neko. He has worked with Suboi, Hoang Dung, The Thien... in many projects. The rookie showed his uniqueness right in his first music product when choosing the hyper music genre. pop is still unfamiliar to the public. Hyperpop is a branch of pop, characterized by over-the-top sounds, distortion, high tempo and a combination of different elements. Choosing to pursue the hyperpop music genre, the Gen Z singer hopes to be a new breeze of Vietnamese music.

CHLOÉ shared: “Studying in an international environment helps me gain more perspective and skills on modern art. When I return to Vietnam, I want to combine those elements with the unique culture and emotions of Vietnamese music to create a fusion of colors.”

In the near future, CHLOÉ will continue to pursue the hyperpop genre, exploit more emotional aspects, and experiment with more musical materials.
