Tan Loc meets advanced NTM commune standards

(VLO) On the afternoon of January 17, Tam Binh District People's Committee held a ceremony to announce Tan Loc commune meeting advanced NTM standards.

With the motto "Building new rural areas has no stopping point", after 5 years of implementing the improvement of new rural areas, Tan Loc commune has effectively mobilized all resources to complete 19/19 advanced new rural criteria.

Awarding certificates of recognition and excellent emulation flags to Tan Loc advanced rural commune.

Up to now, the traffic system in the commune has been completed with 100% of the roads having lighting, ensuring good service for travel needs as well as goods trading.

The closed irrigation system ensures irrigation for 100% of the area with 1,220 hectares, contributing to good agricultural production and people's lives.

Rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding contributions to the movement to build advanced new rural areas in Tan Loc commune.

100% of hamlets in the commune have flower roads, creating a bright, green, clean and beautiful landscape. The average income per capita in 2023 of the commune will reach more than 68 million VND/person/year (double the time when it was recognized as a new-style rural commune).

The multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 1.73%. The employment rate was over 91.3%. Political security and social order and safety were maintained.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Tam Binh District People's Committee - Nguyen Quoc Thai highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Loc commune.

To improve the quality of advanced NTM criteria, towards building a model NTM, he noted that the commune should continue to promote propaganda work so that people can promote their role as the main subject in building NTM; properly assess the potential and advantages of the locality to determine specific contents, tasks and focused investments; effectively implement social security policies; continue to promote the strengths of the locality in agricultural production, promote the development of small-scale industry and trade-services to attract more businesses; contribute to job creation, improve income as well as the material and spiritual life of the people in a sustainable manner, so that people can truly benefit from the NTM construction program in the locality.
