Ho Chi Minh City Police Club wins Becamex Group Cup for the first time.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police Football Team (CA TP.HCM) has entered the final of the 18th Becamex Group Community Football Tournament - Becamex Group Cup 2025 with a strong squad and a team of experienced players, including two former national team players, Le Tan Tai and Dao Van Phong, who form the foundation of coach Bao Tien's playing style.
Right in the first half, the strength of the newly crowned champions of the 2025 season was clearly demonstrated when striker Quoc Bao scored a hat-trick, along with goals from Tan Tai and Van Duy, helping Ho Chi Minh City Police Club take a comfortable 5-0 lead before halftime.
In the second half, coach Bao Tien brought on young players like Nguyen Le Minh Khoi and Ho Minh Khoi, each scoring a goal to help the Ho Chi Minh City Police team maintain their dominance. Tan Tai and Van Duy also completed their braces to seal a resounding 9-2 victory.

This is the first time the Ho Chi Minh City Police Club has won the Becamex Group Cup - the largest 11-a-side amateur football tournament in the country, which in previous years attracted hundreds of teams each season. Previously, the team finished as runners-up in the 2023 season, and now they have fulfilled their dream of winning the gold medal with a convincing performance from start to finish.

Founded and sponsored by Becamex Group, this tournament has now reached its 18th year, maintaining its position as the leading amateur football league in the country in terms of scale, tradition, and identity.
The tournament is held annually to provide a beneficial and healthy recreational activity for workers and employees of businesses operating in Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, the tournament attracted more than 1,000 amateur football teams from companies, factories, and schools in the area, along with tens of thousands of athletes, creating a new look for the development of sports in Ho Chi Minh City.
