At the meeting, Colonel Ngo Thanh Cong gave a general introduction to the delegation about the tradition, functions, tasks, organizational structure, scale, and training types of the school; outstanding achievements ineducation , training, scientific research, building a formal, modern school, and results of cooperation in training international students in recent times.
Major General Leang Sovannara thanked the school for its warm welcome and affirmed that the delegation's visit and work this time was an opportunity to discuss and grasp issues related to training and management of Cambodian students; thereby, providing directions for the Cambodian army and Royal Navy to continue effective cooperation in the field of education and training with the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense in general; in improving the quality of training, fostering, and training in naval expertise and techniques in particular for Cambodian students at the school in the coming time.
