Strengthening cooperation, promoting digital transformation of Quang Nam education

The meeting aimed to share and evaluate cooperation results and discuss orientations for implementing digitaleducation solutions in the coming time.

At the meeting, Mr. Dinh Duc Thu - Deputy General Director of VNPT VinaPhone said that VNPT is proud to be a pioneer partner in the journey of digital transformation of education in Quang Nam . Accordingly, VNPT's vnEdu digital education ecosystem has been deployed synchronously in Quang Nam.

Since 2012, the vnEdu School Information Management System has been deployed throughout the province, helping educational institutions effectively manage, store and exploit data.

To date, all schools in Quang Nam province have used the vnEdu School Information Management system as a platform for managing school data; more than 57,000 students have digital transcripts, nearly 100,000 students use vnEdu Connect, and nearly 15,000 teachers have been granted digital signatures.

In addition, since September 2022, VNPT has officially signed a contract with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam to deploy the Intelligent Education Operation Center (IOC Edu). In 2025, after the consultation process, the Department signed a contract to hire IT services for primary school enrollment and grade 10 entrance exams for all public schools in the province...

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Thai Viet Tuong - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam thanked VNPT for its long-term and effective cooperation in the field of education. At the same time, he acknowledged and appreciated the active support from VNPT, especially the implementation of enrollment software, smart document management application, as well as cooperation activities with banks and related units to optimize the organization and reporting process of the education sector.

Mr. Thai Viet Tuong hopes to continue to learn and cooperate more deeply on VNPT's technology solutions, to serve the modernization and integration process of provincial education.

In the context of the widespread fourth industrial revolution, education is facing strong innovation requirements with effective support from digital technology such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, cloud computing and 5G network.

Recognizing the strategic role of digital education, VNPT has been actively investing in developing a comprehensive digital service ecosystem, in which education is one of the important pillars.
