District health centers organize intervention activities to prevent malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies for poor and near-poor children under 16 years old; supplement vitamin A for children aged 6-60 months from poor and near-poor households, malnourished children under 5 years old from poor and near-poor households, etc.; periodically deworm children from 2 to under 6 years old and deworm primary school students from poor and near-poor households once a year. At the same time, regularly check and supervise the implementation.

According to the Department of Health, the Nutrition Improvement Project is very practical, helping poor households have the conditions to escape poverty sustainably.
