Strengthening the application of IT in contact, working and providing information to the press

Overview of the training class in Tuyen Hoa district

The software for managing the activities of contacting, working and providing information to the press of state administrative agencies in Quang Binh province is the result of a provincial-level scientific project. The software system was built to promote the application of information technology in state management of the press; enhance exchanges and interactions between journalists and state agencies and units in the online environment, contributing to the implementation of the province's digital press transformation roadmap to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

At the training course, representatives of the Department of Information and Communications, the Center for Information Technology and Communications and specialized departments under the Department introduced an overview of the Press Management Software System; provided instructions on the process of using the Press Management Software System; skills in exploiting and using features on the Press Management software; provided instructions on speaking and providing information to the press; and skills in contacting and working with the press.

Mr. Hoang Thanh Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province, reported on the topic at the training course.

In the coming time, the Department of Information and Communications will continue to organize training on the Software System for spokespeople, staff members in charge of speaking and providing information to the press of provincial departments and branches; and reporters of central press agencies residing in the province.

It is expected that in January 2025, the Department of Information and Communications will put into use the software for managing contact, working and providing information to the press of state administrative agencies in the province.
