LG Group sponsors Phase 1 to support the city with 7.5 billion VND to overcome damage caused by Storm No. 3

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of September 23, at the City Convention Center, LG Group led by LG Display General Director, Beack In Kwan, and LG Electronies General Director, Baek Chan, met and presented the first round of funding to support recovery from Storm No. 3 (Yagi) in Hai Phong city.

Attending the sponsorship reception were comrades: Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Le Anh Quan, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee spoke at the donation reception.

Speaking at the donation reception, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan acknowledged and thanked the noble gesture of LG Group in accompanying the Party Committee and People of the city to overcome the damage caused by Storm No. 3. The Permanent Vice Chairman hopes that the Group will pay attention to the Group's employees affected by Storm No. 3; quickly overcome the damage and bring production and business activities back to normal.

Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board donated funds.

At the fund receiving ceremony, LG Group: 7.5 billion VND; Economic Zone Management Board: 50 million VND to support the City People to overcome the damage caused by Storm No. 3.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Dao Trong Duc gave a speech of thanks.

Speaking at the reception of the fund, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Dao Trong Duc sincerely thanked the support of the Group and the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board for joining hands to help the city overcome difficulties and gradually overcome the consequences caused by Storm No. 3. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city committed to using this meaningful support fund for the right purpose, effectively, publicly and transparently.
