TKV Group donates 7 billion VND to support Quang Ninh to overcome damage caused by storm No. 3

On the morning of September 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Ninh province received 7 billion VND from the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) to support people in the province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province received 7 billion VND in support from TKV Group.

To promptly support families and localities affected by the storm, TKV Group supported Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, and Bac Kan provinces with 7 billion VND/locality (total 28 billion VND). This is a support activity within the 70 billion VND support package for overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 for localities and TKV employees.

Previously, TKV supported 10 billion VND for flood victims through the Fund launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The provinces and cities of Hanoi, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, and the Group supported each locality with 3 billion VND (totaling 12 billion VND). The 2024 Welfare Fund of TKV's parent company supported 20 billion VND for employees of TKV's subsidiaries and member units affected by storm No. 3.

Also on the morning of September 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province received support from the Provincial Association of the Elderly and the Provincial Inspectorate. From September 10 to noon on September 16, 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province - Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee received over 21.3 billion VND in support of the people of Quang Ninh province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, including over 20.6 billion VND in cash and 659 million VND in kind.
