Support 20 billion VND for Bac Kan province to overcome storm damage

Several localities in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, suffered damage due to typhoon number 3.

Specifically, 20 billion VND will be allocated to Bac Kan province from the central government's contingency budget for 2024 to help mitigate the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 and stabilize the lives of the people.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance and the People's Committee of Bac Kan province, according to their assigned functions and duties, to be responsible for the content, data, and proposals in the report, ensuring compliance with the law.

The People's Committee of Bac Kan province is responsible for the specific allocation and use of the above-mentioned additional funds, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the law on state budget and other relevant legal documents, for the intended purpose, economically and efficiently, without loss, waste, or corruption; using central government support funds along with local budget funds and other legitimate sources of capital to promptly address the damage caused by typhoon No. 3.
