At the program, speakers from the Center for Technical Standards and Quality Measurement 2 (National Standards and Quality Measurement Committee) presented key topics on: the role of measurement activities in businesses and the current state of measurement in Vietnam; and an overview of Project 996 with the goal of developing a synchronous and modern national measurement infrastructure to meet integration requirements.

In addition, trainees also listened to experts exchange ideas and receive guidance on building and implementing measurement assurance programs at enterprises using a systems-based and effective approach; guidance on measurement assurance in petroleum business operations, focusing on legal regulations, measuring equipment, inspection and calibration work, as well as monitoring and inspection activities related to measurement.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Deputy Head of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality Management (Department of Science and Technology), the training courses aim to help agencies, organizations, and petroleum businesses in the province better understand the role of measurement and the State's policies in reforming measurement activities, thereby enhancing the reputation and competitiveness of businesses in the market, and protecting consumer rights.
At the end of the training course, participants will complete an assignment and undergo a quality assessment, which will serve as the basis for issuing certificates according to regulations.
