Training in conference management and public speaking skills

At the training course, delegates listened to lecturers from the Vietnam Youth Academy branch in Ho Chi Minh City introduce some methods and skills for running conferences; the role and responsibilities of the moderator; the process of organizing and coordinating effective conferences; how to handle situations that arise during the conference such as: attendees talking beyond the time limit, arguing fiercely or going off topic, not cooperating, etc.

Students are also instructed in skills, some methods to practice public speaking skills; prepare speeches, predict questions or responses from the audience. At the same time, they are instructed in skills to handle unexpected situations, such as: forgetting words, audience reactions, faulty equipment, etc.

This is useful knowledge, helping officials and civil servants to organize meetings of agencies and units carefully, in accordance with regulations and requirements.
