Eqtedar exercise phase 2, Iran determined to protect nuclear facilities

This is the second phase of a series of exercises called Eqtedar, which began near the Natanz, Fordow and Khondab nuclear facilities in early January.

According to state TV channel IRIB , in the first phase of the drills, air units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) conducted "comprehensive defense of nuclear sites against various aerial threats under difficult electronic warfare conditions."

In the second phase, air defense units will conduct operations to detect, identify, track, intercept and destroy enemy targets using domestically produced radar equipment.

Accordingly, the units identify and track a series of intruding drones through air defense sensors and take necessary tactical actions to counter them.

Iran's armed forces have conducted several military exercises in recent weeks. Military officials said more drills will be held in the coming weeks to boost the military's readiness against potential threats.
