Concentrate resources, speed up project construction progress

On September 17, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation inspected the actual progress of the project to build a stadium and auxiliary items in Duc Xuan ward and the project to support investment in building tourist destinations in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, in Khuan Bang village, Cho Moi commune.

Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation inspected the construction site of the old Bac Kan Provincial Stadium.

The project to build Bac Kan Provincial Stadium and auxiliary items has a total investment of about 260 billion VND, with implementation period from 2023 to 2025. Up to this point, construction work has been deployed synchronously in many bidding packages.

In particular, the electrical system relocation package implemented by Phu Minh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company was completed and handed over on February 19, 2025. The ground leveling and drainage construction package implemented by the Tan Thinh - Thanh Quy - Duc Anh joint venture has completed the entire drainage project and is currently leveling the ground, with an estimated volume of about 90% of the contract value.

The construction package, purchase of grandstand equipment and low-voltage lines by the Bac Thai joint venture has reached 42% of the contract value; currently, grandstand A is under construction on the 2nd floor; grandstand B has finished pouring concrete and is completing the functional rooms.

Leaders of Cho Moi commune introduced an overview of Khuan Bang homestay tourist area to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation.

Regarding the Project to support investment in building tourist destinations for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in Khuan Bang village, Cho Moi commune, this is an important project, contributing to exploiting the potential of community tourism, creating sustainable livelihoods for people in the highlands. Up to now, people have been and are starting to build, renovate and repair houses. However, the traffic infrastructure into the village has not ensured tourism development; the supporting products are still monotonous, not taking advantage of and promoting the typical and unique cultural features of the indigenous people.

After inspecting the projects, Mr. Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the projects being implemented in the Northern region play an important role in promoting socio -economic development, especially in the field of community tourism. Therefore, investors and contractors need to focus resources, overcome difficulties, speed up construction progress, and ensure the quality of the project according to the design documents...

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation visited the homestay model in Khuan Bang village, Cho Moi commune.

Particularly for the project of building the Stadium and auxiliary items in Duc Xuan ward, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the local authorities to actively coordinate in site clearance work, create favorable conditions for the project implementation process; pay attention to mobilizing people to participate and benefit from the projects when completed.

Relevant departments and branches need to proactively guide procedures and promptly remove obstacles related to capital and policy mechanisms to avoid delays that affect investment efficiency.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province will continue to closely direct and accompany contractors, promptly resolve arising difficulties, promptly complete projects, promote efficiency, contribute to creating a new look for the Northern region, improve the material and spiritual life of the people, thereby creating momentum for sustainable development of the province in the coming period.
