Thailand pushed up the attack speed right from the start. The ball had only been rolling for 3 minutes when the Thai women's futsal team scored the opening goal. Paerploy Huajaipetch cleverly occupied the space in front of the Hong Kong defense, then finished accurately, scoring the goal to help Thailand take a 1-0 lead.

In the 9th minute, Thailand scored their second goal, thanks to Jenjira Bubpha, after a gentle tap-in from a very good pass from her teammate.

Not yet recovered from the shock of the above-mentioned defeats, Hong Kong received two more goals in the 11th and 14th minutes, scored by Jenjira and Nattamon Artkla respectively.

At this point, the game was out of reach for the Hong Kong women's futsal team. It wasn't until the last minute of the first half (in futsal, each half is 20 minutes, not counting the time the ball was out of play) that Hong Kong managed to score a goal, narrowing the gap to 1-4.

However, the above goal could not help Hong Kong fill the gap in level compared to the Thai women's futsal team.

In the second half, Thailand slowed down their play, but despite that, they still scored their fifth goal. The scorer to raise the score to 5-1 for Thailand was Jenjira. The player of the Thai women's futsal team also completed her hat-trick in this match.

On the Hong Kong side, this team also scored another goal at the end of the match, by So Hoi Lam, thereby ending the match with a 2-5 loss.

The victory over Hong Kong helped Thailand reach the semi-finals of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship. The Golden Temple team is one victory away from a ticket to the final round of this year's World Cup.
