In the third-place match that took place on the same day, the Iranian women's futsal team defeated host China 3-1. Thus, 4 Asian representatives will participate in the 2025 Women's Futsal World Cup taking place in the Philippines later this year: host Philippines, Thailand, Japan and Iran. There are 16 teams worldwide that have won tickets to the Women's Futsal World Cup.
