In the mutual support and assistance between villages and regions in the relationship of both relatives and neighbors, Kinh people as well as Tay, Nung and other ethnic groups have accepted each other's cultural values, contributing to creating a high sense of community among many generations of people here.

In Thai Nguyen, cultural exchange does not take place sporadically and separately, but has a long-term, systematic absorption and accumulation, creating fundamental changes in the formation and development of a rich and unique cultural tradition.

The ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen, if not of the same ethnic origin, have built and defended the country together for a long time and with hardship, and have stood side by side firmly.

The Kinh, Tay, Nung, Dao, San Chay and other ethnic groups have lived together in villages, clans and families. This characteristic creates unanimity, promotes the process of ethnic harmony and quickly forms a block, the ethnic groups are attached to each other by organic connections from ancient times.

The earliest manifestation of the long-standing cultural sympathy among Thai Nguyen ethnic groups is reflected in the Duom Temple festival, which attracts a large number of participants, even a large residential area of many ethnic groups.

The Duom Temple Festival may also be the sediment of an ancient festival and worship custom, which is the worship of the water god with the legend of the festival and the two snake gods Ong Coc and Ong Dai associated with the sentence "upper du Duom, lower Luc Dau" and nearly 300 other worshiping places, scattered along both banks of the Cau River, from Du Duom (Thai Nguyen) to Luc Dau (Pha Lai, Bac Ninh ).

In addition, Thai Nguyen also preserves many other ancient legends and festivals, such as the legend and Com com Festival held on the 6th day of the first lunar month in Tien Phong, Pho Yen.

Along with the above legends and festivals, the Nung people of Thai Nguyen also have a long-standing folk cultural treasure, with many folk songs imbued with their identity; the Tay people have a rich treasure of proverbs and folk songs... Therefore, it can be affirmed that Thai Nguyen is one of the long-standing cultural regions rich in tradition.
