(Dan Tri) - The Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has signed a decision approving the additional budget estimate for the first phase of staff streamlining in 2025, with a total amount of nearly 17 billion VND.
This fund is drawn from the 2025 salary reform fund, in which provincial-level units receive more than VND 2.9 billion and district-level units receive more than VND 13 billion.
Notably, the Department of Health is the provincial unit that received the most with nearly 1.4 billion VND. At the district level, Lang Chanh and Tho Xuan lead with funding of more than 1.4 billion VND and nearly 1.4 billion VND, respectively.
The Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to take full responsibility before the law and relevant agencies for the accuracy and legality of the consulting, appraisal and reporting data contents and ensuring the conditions, standards and norms according to regulations.
The Department of Finance and the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa are assigned to inspect, control and carry out professional procedures for funding allocation to units with additional budget estimates, ensuring completeness and timeliness according to regulations.
The Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa have the right to reject ineligible expenditures and are responsible for their decisions according to the provisions of law.
Units with subjects implementing staff streamlining need to review the subjects, conditions, and standards to carry out related procedures and processes according to legal regulations on staff streamlining and other current regulations.
At the same time, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested to manage the allocated funds and pay them to beneficiaries according to the regime, policies, conditions, standards, norms, targets, subjects, publicly, transparently and make payments and settlements according to the law.
