Thanh Hoa launched the movement "Digital popular education"

On the morning of May 8, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province organized the launching ceremony of the "Digital Education for All" movement in the whole province. The ceremony was connected online to 1,018 points from the province to departments, agencies, branches, provincial units; districts, towns, cities and communes, wards, towns, villages, neighborhoods, universities, markets, and businesses with more than 52,000 participants.

Comrade Dao Xuan Yen - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee emphasized the purpose and requirements of the "Popular Digital Education" movement to popularize basic knowledge about digital transformation (DTS) and digital skills for people with a revolutionary, all-people, comprehensive spirit, leaving no one behind in the DTS process; all people are equipped with the necessary digital knowledge and skills to apply in daily life to grasp, utilize, exploit, and enjoy the achievements of science and technology, innovation, and DTS.

Thanh Hoa province launched the movement — Comrade Do Minh Tuan - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the movement has extremely important significance, carrying profound humanistic values for the development of the country and each locality.

Thanh Hoa province has set a plan that by 2026, 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the public sector will have an understanding of digital transformation, have digital knowledge and skills, and make good use of digital platforms and services for work. 100% of primary school students will be equipped with digital knowledge and skills to serve their studies, research and creativity, recognize risks, and have skills to ensure safety in the digital environment. 100% of adults will have basic knowledge of digital transformation, digital skills, and make good use of smart devices to exploit information, use essential digital platforms and services, and participate in interactions and safety in the digital environment. 80% of adults will be confirmed to have achieved universal knowledge of digital transformation and digital skills on the VNelD platform. 100% of employees in enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions have basic knowledge of digital technology , digital skills, and good use of smart devices to serve production and business, and improve labor productivity.

Launching the "Digital Education for All" movement, Comrade Do Minh Tuan - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee emphasized: This is a movement of extremely important significance, carrying profound humanistic values for the development of the country and each locality, including Thanh Hoa province; demonstrating the determination of the Party Committee and the government in the development of a digital nation, digital government, digital economy, digital society and digital citizens. At the same time, it is an important task to concretize the Party's guidelines and policies in Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; is a practical task to organize the implementation of the direction of Comrade General Secretary To Lam on lifelong learning and deploy the "Digital Education for All" movement.
