Establishment of Quang Tri Province Newspaper and Radio - Television Station

(PLVN) - On June 3, the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision on the establishment of the Quang Tri Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. This is an important step in the process of restructuring local press agencies towards streamlining and efficiency.

According to the decision, Quang Tri Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television Station were established on the basis of merging Quang Tri Newspaper and Quang Tri Radio - Television Station.

Along with the announcement of the establishment decision, the Provincial Party Standing Committee awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Vo Nguyen Thuy, Director of Quang Tri Radio and Television Station, to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.

After the merger, Quang Tri Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television Station have 4 Deputy Editors-in-Chief including: Mr. Nguyen Ty (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper); Mr. Le Vinh Nhien (Deputy Director of Quang Tri Radio - Television Station); Mr. Nguyen Quoc Nam (Deputy Director of Quang Tri Radio - Television Station); Mr. Nguyen Chi Linh (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper).

The merger of the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station is a step to innovate the organizational model, promote the strengths of each agency, thereby improving the quality of content and propaganda effectiveness, meeting the requirements of political tasks in the new period.
