Thuy Nguyen City organizes compulsory land recovery to implement VSIP Hai Phong Urban, Industrial and Service Area Project

VSIP Hai Phong project is a key project approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy, Hai Phong City People's Committee approved the detailed planning at a scale of 1/2000 in Decision No. 2112/QD-UBND dated December 10, 2008 with a total planning area of ​​1,566 hectares. Site clearance has been implemented since 2008, up to now, thousands of households have agreed and handed over over 700 hectares of land to implement the project. However, within the scope of land acquisition, there are still 16 households in An Lu and Thuy Ha wards who have not agreed, have not received compensation, support and have not handed over the site. Thuy Nguyen City People's Committee has directed relevant agencies and units to coordinate and fully implement the procedures according to regulations: inventory of assets, develop compensation and support plans, notify payment many times, and persuade households to comply.

Based on the reports of the People's Committees of An Lu and Thuy Ha wards; the proposal of the Center for Land Fund Development and Project Management, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Thuy Nguyen city; the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen city issued decisions on compulsory land recovery, established an enforcement board, approved the enforcement plan, organized to collect opinions from the city's departments and branches and reported to ask for direction from the Standing Committee of the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Hai Phong city.

By the end of May 22, thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, 13/16 households agreed to receive money, move assets, and hand over land. On the morning of May 23, right before the enforcement, 2 more households continued to comply and completed the land handover. For the remaining household in Thuy Ha ward, the Enforcement Committee carried out all steps according to the law, ensuring proper procedures, safety, and efficiency. After the enforcement, the household also agreed to receive compensation and support money.

Demolition and moving work is being carried out urgently.

The enforcement took place seriously, in accordance with regulations, safely and achieved good results. Assets on the site were inventoried, moved and processed according to the approved plan. The enforcement of land recovery is an important step to accelerate the implementation of the VSIP Hai Phong Project - one of the projects of great significance to the socio -economic development of Thuy Nguyen City and Hai Phong City./.
