The 5th round of the Japan Volleyball Championship took place today and witnessed an interesting confrontation when the Gunma Green Wings Club, which Tran Thi Thanh Thuy plays for, met her old team, the PFU Blue Cats Club, which she played for from 2021 to 2024.

With good form, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy continued to be given the opportunity to play for Gunma Green Wings by coach Masayasu Sakamoto, who was also the captain of PFU Blue Cats. The captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had impressive scoring moves, contributing to the final 3-1 victory for Gunma Green Wings against PFU Blue Cats.

Playing at home with the support of a large number of fans, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates entered the match with great determination. Gunma Green Wings Club created an overwhelming position before defeating PFU Blue Cats 25/21 in the first game. The second game witnessed the efforts of the girls of PFU Blue Cats when they fiercely pursued, at one point taking the lead (21/20) but lost 22/25 to the home team Gunma Green Wings.

The performance slowed down in game 3 along with the coaching staff's adjustments when giving the opportunity to play for domestic players, causing Gunma Green Wings Club to lose 17/25 to PFU Blue Cats. Returning strongly in game 4, despite facing many difficulties, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates successfully took advantage of the opportunities, winning 25/20, closing the final victory 3-1. In this victory, Thanh Thuy, in addition to her attacking moves to score points on the block, also scored points from skillful short ball handling situations and tricky serves.

After 3 losses, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Gunma Green Wings Club have found victory again in the Japanese volleyball tournament. Tomorrow (October 26), Gunma Green Wings Club will play again against PFU Blue Cats with the goal of winning all 3 points.
