The Cong Viettel has added to its squad, preparing for V-League 2025-2026 with the goal of reaching the highest position of the season.
Paulo Tadeu Viana Martins, also known as Paulinho Curuá, is a defensive midfielder, 1.87 m tall, with a strong playing style. Coach Velizar Popov expressed his satisfaction with the new player who can take on many positions like Paulinho.
He said: “Paulinho is an important piece of the team. He has the ability to adapt quickly and is suitable for the playing philosophy of The Cong Viettel.”

Damian Vu Thanh An is a Vietnamese-Polish player whose father is Vietnamese and mother is Polish. Born in 2003, this player plays in midfield and tends to play offensively. Damian started playing professionally in Poland at the age of 16.
The 1.83 m tall rookie affirmed: "I always wanted to play in Vietnam and from the first day I came to the headquarters of The Cong Viettel, I wanted to stick with the club. I am very grateful to the club for giving me this opportunity."
Kyle Colonna, a 1.88 m tall player with Vietnamese - American - Italian blood, is expected to be a quality addition alongside Bui Tien Dung.
“I have high hopes for Kyle, especially with what he has shown during the pre-season. I hope Kyle and Bui Tien Dung will create a solid wall in front of the goal,” said head coach Velizar Popov.
Duong Thanh Tung was born in 1999, lives in the Czech Republic and has Vietnamese parents. This 1.85 m tall player grew up in the Banik Most club's training center and tried his hand at the V-League last season. This season, Duong Thanh Tung is registered as a domestic player. With his strong positions as an attacking midfielder and striker, Duong Thanh Tung is expected to increase the attacking power of the army team.
