On May 27, responding to the press, Mr. Duong Kiem Anh - Head of the Departmentof Education and Training of Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province - said that he had asked the My Thanh Ward Police, Long Xuyen City to verify the clip of a group of female students using helmets to beat a friend in front of the school gate, believed to be Nguyen Hue Secondary School, My Thanh Ward.

However, Mr. Kiem Anh explained that the incident happened at night, outside the school gate at a time when there were no teachers. "I have requested to urgently verify the incident to report to the leaders of Long Xuyen City and the Department of Education and Training" - Mr. Kiem Anh informed.

According to a nearly one-minute clip circulating on social media, a group of about 6-7 female students gathered in front of a secondary school gate in My Thanh ward, along National Highway 91. After preparing their phones to record, the female students started cheering and appeared very excited. Another female student even looked for a helmet and was lent it by another student to fight.

When about 4-5 female students approached another female student who was shorter, suddenly a female student named Yen Ngoc grabbed her hair, hit her head many times and knocked her to the ground. A female student wearing a black jacket, holding a helmet, rushed forward and hit the victim repeatedly on the head. The female student in white continued to use her helmet to repeatedly hit the head of the female student sitting on the ground.

Being beaten, the victim could only scream and continuously apologize, promising not to do it again, but the two female students still refused to stop. The victim could only use both hands to hold her head and endure the beating, but continued to be grabbed by the hair and beaten brutally.

At this time, the female student who was filming the beating spoke up to stop the incident: "Stop Ngoc, Yen Ngoc, it's okay" and then the incident stopped.

Meanwhile, talking about another 17-minute clip recording the scene of female students wearing uniforms of My Duc Secondary School, My Duc Commune, Chau Phu District ( An Giang ) beating their friend, Mr. Quach Van Nhan - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Chau Phu District - affirmed that he had requested the school, local authorities and My Duc Commune Police to quickly investigate and verify the content of the incident.

"We have requested verification to clarify who posted this clip on social media, and to clarify which student beat up his friend so that we can take action and report to the district leaders and the Department of Education and Training," said Mr. Nhan.

However, according to Mr. Nhan, initial information from My Duc Secondary School is that this clip may have been filmed last school year, outside the school. "The school said that the student who beat his friend in the clip has now dropped out of school and is no longer a student of the school," Mr. Nhan added.

According to the clip, a group of about 4-5 students were walking in a mango garden when suddenly a student wearing a black jacket grabbed the head of another female student and hit her hard on the head with a helmet. The victim could only sit down on the grass and endure the pain without any resistance.

Next, the student wearing the black jacket continued to grab the hair and hit another female student in uniform several times on the head. At that time, the camera clearly recorded some of the female students in the clip wearing the gym uniform of My Duc Secondary School. Witnessing the scene of their classmate being beaten, there was no intervention from the group of female students outside.

Recently, An Phu district, An Giang province has issued a party and government disciplinary warning to Mr. VTD - Principal of A Quoc Thai Primary School, Quoc Thai commune, An Phu district. Mr. D. was disciplined for being involved in many violations, including being accused by a female teacher of being sexually harassed by Mr. D. at school and sending sexually harassing messages. When he failed to achieve his goal, Mr. D. sent threatening and harassing messages.

Previously, in March 2025, social networks were "stirred up" by a clip of a group of female elementary school students at Le Hong Phong Elementary School, My Thoi Ward, Long Xuyen City, freely smoking electronic cigarettes.

After the incident was reported by the press, the Department of Education and Training of Long Xuyen City issued a document directing the principals of affiliated schools in the city. This document aims to strengthen management, moral education, lifestyle and prevention of school violence and electronic cigarettes.
