In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today remained stable compared to yesterday and fluctuated between 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Thai Binh , Hung Yen, and Hai Duong are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.

The market price of live pigs in the North increased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in many provinces and cities last week.
Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today maintained a stable trend compared to yesterday and fluctuated between 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are purchasing live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.

On the other hand, traders in Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Quang Nam are purchasing live pigs at 60,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price in the region.

Last week, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region also increased by 1-2 prices in some localities. Accordingly, there is no locality nationwide where the price is below 60,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices in the Southern market remained unchanged compared to yesterday and fluctuated between 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

On the other hand, traders in Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Hau Giang, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Bac Lieu are purchasing live pigs at 60,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 61,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.
Last week, the price of live pigs in the South fluctuated up and down. Traders in this area are buying live pigs from 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
In general, the price of live pigs last week continued to increase slightly in some provinces and cities in the North and Central regions, fluctuating in the opposite direction in the South. Surveys show that the price of live pigs nationwide is being traded in the range of 60,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
