Pig price today in the North: Continued stability

The price of live pigs in the North this morning (November 5) generally did not fluctuate much. The price of pigs fluctuated between 52,000 - 54,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the price of live pigs in Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh is currently trading at 52,000 and 53,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Meanwhile, the purchase price in Bac Ninh and Hanoi continues to maintain the highest level in the region at 54,000 VND/kg. Localities including Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Hung Yen are stable at 53,000 VND/kg.

The remaining provinces such as Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Son La and Dien Bien continue to purchase at around 52,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the Central Highlands: Stable

In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs on the morning of November 5 remained unchanged in localities, fluctuating between 49,000 - 53,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Gia Lai are currently trading at 49,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong also recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg to 50,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces maintained the highest regional price at VND53,000/kg; Ha Tinh maintained VND52,000/kg; Dak Lak remained stable at VND50,000/kg, and Khanh Hoa remained unchanged at VND51,000/kg.

Pig price today in the South: Stable

The southern pig market this morning continued to remain stable compared to the previous day, trading around 50,000 - 53,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Specifically, traders in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and An Giang are currently purchasing live pigs at 52,000 VND/kg; Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long and Can Tho maintain the price at 51,000 VND/kg.

Ca Mau alone still leads the region with 53,000 VND/kg.
